Residential Roofing in Tracy
Most of our Tracy work is residential. The housing stock runs from older downtown homes with steep pitches and wood decking to 1990s tract houses in Edgewood and Glenbriar, plus newer builds in Tracy Hills with tile and architectural shingles. Families here care about three things: stopping leaks before they damage the interior, keeping summer cooling costs down, and getting a roof that lasts through the next 20 years of valley heat. We handle all of it, from a single cracked pipe boot to a full tear-off with ventilation upgrades.
- Asphalt shingle roof replacement — The most common Tracy residential job. We tear off old layers, replace rotted sheathing, and install cool-roof rated architectural shingles from GAF or Owens Corning. Typical single-story homes finish in two to three days, and every job carries a 25-year workmanship warranty.
- Leak repair and flashing service — Tracy leaks usually trace to chimney flashing, pipe boots, or valleys, not the shingle field. We find the actual entry point, repair it with proper metal flashing and ice-and-water shield, and hose-test before leaving. Most repairs finish in a single visit.
- Attic ventilation upgrades — Hot Tracy attics shorten shingle life and drive up cooling bills. During replacement or repair, we calculate ventilation against roof area and install balanced intake and ridge vents. Homeowners notice the difference the first summer.
- Storm damage repair and tarping — When winter wind off the Altamont tears off shingles, we tarp the same day and document the damage for your insurance claim. Permanent repairs get scheduled as soon as the weather window opens, with priority for active leaks.
